in memory . . .

its been many years of navigating my life without the people i loved the most but i did this all for them. every creative bone in my body i know i got from my grandmother, every step ive taken to love myself i got from rat, and the love i share for every animal on this planet definitely comes from my childhood cat, mickey. not having them in my life isnt easy at all, but losing them made me stronger and i know theyre so proud of where i am today. if you have lost a loved one for any reason, just know you arent alone and it does get easier to move with your guilt, or shame, or grief. death doesnt always have to be a negative thing. its proof that theyve fulfilled their duties in this world, that theyve created a legacy (big or small) and shaped everyone's lives around them. they had a purpose, nobody's death is in vain. the least we could do for them is to celebrate their life and remember them for who they were and what they did, rather than it not being fair that theyre gone.
